2. What Data We Collect and Why

Contact form

When you submit the contact form we receive your name, email address, and message (and optionally your phone number). We use this data to respond to your inquiry and, where a project follows, to perform our contract with you.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing necessary for pre-contractual steps or contract performance.

Server logs

Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, date and time. Used for security and diagnostics only.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics (self-hosted). Plausible is cookieless: it sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and stores no personally identifiable information. Traffic is measured using aggregated, anonymous page-view counts only.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in understanding site usage without processing personal data.

3. Recipients and Processors

We use the following processors:

Hetzner Online GmbH — web hosting and server logs (EU/EEA)
Plausible Analytics (self-hosted) — privacy-friendly traffic analytics (EU/EEA)

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. International Transfers

All processing takes place within the EU/EEA. No data is transferred to third countries.

5. Retention Periods

Contact form submissions — until inquiry resolved, then up to 1 year
Server logs — 90 days
Plausible analytics data — aggregated only; no personal data retained

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

Access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected
Erasure — request deletion of your data
Restriction — ask us to limit processing in certain circumstances
Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests

7. Right to Lodge a Complaint
